Since 2020 the global world is undergoing a serious and factitious calamity,called covid 19...hence paramount loss was accompanied with it, which was difficult to be dealt with.Recovery from the illness was and is no less than incatation working correctly and leading to a magic.... the hectic lifestyle once that we used to practice wasnt kind enough to provide us with an opportunity to ponder and practice upon the idea called health,so we should be glad ,as health is now matter of concern for us due to severe implications and arrival of covid-19.
The old Adage health is wealth is absolutely gold and 100 percent truth...immunity is kind enough not to discriminate between rich and poor,but it absolutely distinguishes healthy and an unhealthy body..if you are immune you are healthy and if you are healthy you are immune...and this can be proved by the fact that a section of people despite of getting infected remains asymptomatic...and this is because they carry partial immunity that renders them a bit of health. This fact bumps a question into a our tender minds....that what makes one section of people healthy and immune and while others suffer from unhealthiness?
So to understand and answer the above questions appropriately we need to understand the several known but not followed aspects ,practices and dimensions of health. The world health has old english roots that is whole, the word whole offers the sense and need of being complete,so to have a wholesome world you need to be whole,you need to be healthy....so another question that pops up is how to be healthy,how to be wholesome and complete? See we need to know and accept the fact that you cannt buy your health from a pharmacy shop neither you can buildit up in a gym...but yes you can get a packet of medicines and a bulky body for sure...from the above stated statement it is crystal clear that health is wealth but your wealth cannt afford your health,it can just buy you a protein shake and medicines.so how to be healthy ?the dimensions of health arent just restricted to the defination physical fitness but it also streches and takes in account the idea of emotional fitness.
Thus physical fitness and emotional fitness surely endures you with health,ensuring not a infinite but a happy and long life’So what does it mean to be emotionally and physically fit? A simple but yet a difficult question to be answered.what are the indicators of physical and emotional fitness,is achieving both contemporarily possible,and if yes than how? So lets ponder upon this significant questions....
Starting, with what does it mean to be emotionally and physically fit? Physical fitness and emotional fitness empowers you to be present in the present’,ensuring that you are not just passing your life but rather you are living it,by accessing the present and utilizing it to its fullest...as life is a present as well as in present...
So what are the ways to enhance and develop physical fitness in order to live a long and healthy life?
1.Have ikigai diet or rainbow diet,the book ikigai correctly spots the importance of diet in persons well being, eating variety of foods i.e atleast seven types of fruits and vegetables every day(source. Ikigai) will render you with the robust health and physical fitness.other than this consumption of green tea benefits individual by controlling cholestrol,lowering blood sugar levels,improving circulation, providing protection against flu(vitamin c) and etc. Also sugar and salt should be taken in an appropriate manner,not too much nor too less,and if possible refined sugar should be avoided..
2. other than diet ,exercise is another most important pillar offering physical fitness..perfoming yoga especially surya namashkara has a sound impact on our bodies..yoga unites body with mind also brings us closer to the divine(ikigai). Thus performing yoga every day guarantees a healthy lifestyle. Similarly performing tai chi,Qigong offers and provides the same. Even practicing 30 min walk promises a sound physical fitness.
But physical fitness is just one aspect of health, but being emotianlly fit aswell makes you wholesome...so how to be fit at emotional level?
1.Firstly discover your ikigai..i.e what you love to do the most. It can be either painting , drawing, altruism, dancing ,cooking,etc...your ikigai will shield you from unwanted stress and pressure and thus absence of stress ensures a sound sleep that is important for being fit.
2. make friends of the same age,as they work as stress busters. And also interaction with people can boost your confidence..
3.developing a possitive attitude is a must to be emotionally fit , and this can be accomplished only when you read good books and watch good movies, like body mind also needs food.
In a nutshell living in present also not freaking out about future indicates you are both emotionally and physically fit. Being fit in all spheres makes you healthy as well as wealthy,as its rightely coined that your biggest wealth is your health. Jan hai to jahan hai”fits well here..
